Your first Axos workspace
Welcome to the first lesson of the Axos Academy. By the time you finish it — twenty minutes from now — you will have a fully provisioned Axos workspace, know how to sign in and out, and have written your first note.
Step 1 — Provision the workspace
Open the plans page and click Create free workspace. Enter your workspace email. The workspace is provisioned instantly — no email confirmation loop, no waiting queue. The confirmation banner tells you which region your workspace was provisioned into (Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam or Warsaw).
Step 2 — Sign in for the first time
Because Axos is passwordless, "signing in" and "receiving a magic link" are the same action. The provisioning flow already sent you the first magic link. Open your inbox, tap the link, land on /workspace. The ax_ws session cookie is set — you are now signed in for 90 days.
Step 3 — Write the first note
The workspace opens on the notes surface with an empty first note titled Welcome. Delete the placeholder, type a title, press Enter, type the body. The note is saved to the cloud after 60 milliseconds of quiet typing and version-checkpointed every five minutes.
Step 4 — Close the browser, come back
Close the tab. Wait ten minutes. Reopen axoshub.org/workspace in the same browser. You land on the note you just wrote — no sign-in prompt, no re-authentication, no data loss.
Step 5 — Sign in from a second browser
Open a different browser (or the same browser on a different device) and go to axoshub.org/login. Enter the same workspace email. A fresh magic link arrives. Tap it. The second browser is now signed in, showing the same note you wrote in step 3.
You are done
Congratulations — you have an Axos workspace, a first note, two signed-in browsers, and a working understanding of the sign-in loop. Continue to Lesson 2 — mastering the task board →
